Issues to be discussed
- in the workshop
You may want to prepare for the following discussions:
- What is the purpose of this valuation (for example we are planning to approach investors. We need a valuation to set the share price)
- State your personal position in 3 words: (for example price expectation, ambitions, plans for the future, why you exit etc, )
- Peer transactions. Are you familiar with any similar transactions ? Please list relevant information such as buyers, sellers, type of business, location, price, transaction model (for example seller x sold her company y last year. The aquirer was company Z. Enterprice value was xx NOK, the payment was 1/3 cash, 1/3 as a 3 years seller credit and 1/3 in company Z shares)
- Your company valuedrivers. What is driving your company value? What do you think is reducing your company value? (for examples repeat business, IP, business proceedure, industry, niche, margin, business porcesses etc)
- THE INVESTMENT CASE. What can this company become ? Upside and major risks. Investment vs Exit potential. Shareprice from start and until today.
- Who are the potential buyers/investors . Please list names and why they should invest ?
- Key figures. Last 3 years. This year figures up to date. Budget next year.
- Your plan NOW. What are you planning to do the next 3 months to prepare the capital issue, sales etc
